Y6304 Plasterboard Concealed Corner LED Profile

The Y6304 Plasterboard Hidden Corner LED Profile provides lighting at corner junctions with its angled LED channel and flanges extending in two directions. The knurled flange surfaces of the aluminium body give a section that is applied together with the finishing layers. The light opening faces along the corner rather than a flat surface.

Highlights

  • Angled plasterboard LED profile

    The sloped channel at the corner sets the light surface at an angle to the two adjacent planes. The direction of the lighting is determined by how the section sits in the application.

  • Two-direction flange structure

    The vertical and horizontal extensions relate to the surfaces that meet. The covering and finish thickness of both surfaces are assessed together.

  • Knurled surface detail

    The surface texture on the flanges is part of the plaster and covering detail. The profile position is planned with the finishing material before application.

  • Hidden corner lighting

    The compact channel is suited to designing a slim line of light along the corner. The cover and LED are selected for this specific section.

Applications and model selection

It can be used at plasterboard corner junctions, decorative niches and interior details where the lighting sits between two surfaces. The mill finish or special paint surface can be assessed according to the visible parts in the project.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The corner angle, surface thicknesses and direction of the flanges are matched to the section. The profile is fixed; the LED opening is protected from finishing materials. The strip and cover are selected according to the usable channel size. Cables and joints are arranged so that they do not prevent the cover from seating in the angled section.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
