Square Edge Trim Profile with Top Anchoring Leg

The top-lug straight edge trim profile ends the tile edge with a flat aluminium surface and finishes the end of the covering with a short lip at the top. The perforated lower flange allows the profile to be set in place while the tiles are being laid.

    The top-lug tile edge trim profile differs from other straight edge trim models in its inward return, which sits close to the top edge of the covering.

  • Flat front finish

    The visible aluminium surface forms a linear, angular boundary at the tile end.

    The 8, 10 and 12 mm options are assessed by comparing them with the actual covering and the installation allowance.

  • Perforated mounting extension

    The flange is the fixing area intended to sit in the adhesive bed beneath the covering.

Applications and model selection

It can be used at wall covering ends and open edge details where a tile edge trim with a top return is wanted. When choosing the model, the relationship between the top lip and the tile surface is checked in particular.

Installation and Covering Compatibility

The covering and the profile are trial-fitted together and the lug alignment is adjusted. The perforated flange is set in the mounting bed and the visible edge is kept on a straight line. The shape of the section should not be regarded as a guarantee of a mechanical lock.
