External Corner Profile

The outside corner profile finishes the outward-turning edges of tile coverings with an aluminium nose. The curved open section and perforated mounting flange are adapted to different covering details through the choice of the 8, 10 or 12 mm model.

Highlights

  • Standard curved nose

    The tile outside corner profile forms a rounded metal transition at the open edge where two surfaces meet.

  • Three model sizes

    The 8, 10 and 12 mm options are assessed against the finished thickness of the covering.

  • Perforated mounting flange

    The fixing part of the profile sits in the adhesive bed beneath the tile and is installed together with the tiling.

  • Range of surfaces

    The matt, polished, polished gold and painted options can be chosen together with the tile colour and other metal surfaces.

Applications and model selection

It can be used as a tile corner trim on outside wall corners, around niches and on column claddings. How the visible curve sits against the covering and its continuity along the corner are taken into account when choosing the model.

Installation and Covering Compatibility

The profile is aligned to the corner line before the covering is laid. Its top level is compared with the tile and the perforated flange is set in a suitable mounting bed. The grout joint layout where the two covering faces meet is maintained.
