Stainless Steel T Transition Profile

The stainless steel T transition profile consists of a vertical leg that extends between two coverings and a top surface that covers the joint. The stainless steel section forms a thin metal transition line at the boundary between different floor coverings such as parquet and tile.

Applications and model selection

It can be used as a stainless steel floor transition strip at room transitions and at the junctions of different coverings. A parquet-to-tile T profile is selected according to the top flange width and the gap in which the vertical leg can sit.

Installation and Covering Compatibility

The joint gap is cleaned and the profile is checked with a dry fit. A bonding or fixing detail suitable for the covering is applied; the expansion allowance of any floor covering that needs to move is maintained.
