Stainless Steel Parquet Threshold Transition Profile

The stainless steel flooring threshold transition profile covers the junction of two floor coverings with a curved top surface. The stainless steel body gathers the cut edges under a single metal line at door thresholds and room transitions, giving a neat appearance between the floor coverings.

Highlights
  • 38 mm visible width

The 38 mm threshold profile has a curved top surface that sits on both sides of the junction gap.

  • Folded side edges

The inward returns at the two ends of the section complete the edge shape of the profile.

  • Covers from above

The visible surface gathers the junction line of the two floor coverings under a metal cover.

  • Different lengths

The 0.90 m, 2.44 m and 2.70 m lengths can be considered for short thresholds and long transition lines.

Applications and model selection

It can be used under doors, at room entrances and at points where flooring meets another covering. When choosing a stainless steel door threshold strip, the junction width, the floor levels and the door opening are checked.

Installation and Flooring Compatibility

The profile is first dry-fitted over the transition. A fixing method suited to the floor is chosen; the movement allowance of the covering is maintained. The flooring-to-tile transition strip is placed so as to leave an adequate bearing surface on both sides.
