Square Edge Trim Profile

The straight edge trim profile forms a flat aluminium edge at the open end of a tile covering. In applications that want a linear termination rather than a prominent nose, it sits beneath the covering with its perforated mounting flange.

Applications and model selection

It can be used at the ends of wall coverings, in niches and at finishes where tile meets a different surface. An aluminium straight edge trim is chosen on the basis of the height of the visible edge and the area where the covering terminates.

Installation and Covering Compatibility

The profile is seated in the mounting bed so that its flange remains beneath the tile. The visible edge is aligned to the same finished level as the covering. Cut ends and corner joints are checked and the necessary joint allowance is left.
