2.5 cm Slim LED Profile

The 2.5 cm Slim Plasterboard LED Profile creates a visibly framed line of light in plasterboard ceilings and walls. With an outer body width of 25 mm, the aluminium model, code Y10, suits designs that want medium-scale linear lighting. The flat flanges give a neat finish around the light surface.

  • Slim LED profile with 25 mm body

    It helps to design the line of light at a scale between the thin and the wide models. The choice is made together with the proportions of the space and the installation area.

  • Flat-flanged plasterboard LED profile

    The side flanges form a visible frame over the cut edges of the plasterboard. How evenly the flanges are seated directly affects how the line is perceived.

  • Surface suited to the decoration

    Black or special paint colours allow the profile to be matched to furniture and other architectural details. The colour choice also determines the appearance when the light is off.

  • Line finished with a cover

    The polycarbonate and flexible cover options are assessed according to the length of the project and the joint layout. The LED density is chosen according to the light continuity required.

Applications and model selection

It can be considered for living room and bedroom ceilings, work areas and in-store lighting lines. It offers a medium-width option for geometric ceiling compositions where the frame is intended to remain visible.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The channel is prepared taking the outer section of the body and the installation allowance into account. The profile is aligned and the visible flanges are left clean. The LED strip and the connection points must fit inside the channel. A light test is carried out before the cover is closed; corners and joints are completed in the same line.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
