1.5 cm Slim LED Profile

The 1.5 cm Slim Plasterboard LED Profile combines a thin line of light with a visible side frame on plasterboard surfaces. The aluminium model, code Y31, suits linear ceiling designs with its central LED channel and flat flanges; the black surface can create a clear contrast with a light-coloured cover.

  • Thin-framed plasterboard LED profile

    The 15 mm body outer width helps to set up a narrow line of light. The side flanges form the visible edges of the finished design.

  • Slim recessed LED channel

    The unperforated flange structure gives a clean frame effect around the profile. The surface cut-out and the seating of the flanges are planned together.

  • Black and custom paint options

    The surface colour can be chosen to contrast with the ceiling or to follow the metal details in the decoration. The linear appearance is retained even when the light is off.

  • Cover alternatives

    Polycarbonate and flexible covers can be considered according to the application line. The appearance of the light line is determined by the chosen combination of LED strip and cover.

Applications and model selection

It can be used in living room ceilings, corridors, meeting rooms and geometric plasterboard compositions. In projects where the frame is meant to remain visible, the Slim section makes the line a design element.

Installation and Model Compatibility

A channel suited to the profile body is prepared and the profile is fixed in line with the surface. The visible flanges are kept clean and are not covered with finishing materials. The LED strip is selected to suit the inner seat. Corner cuts and cover joints are planned before application so that the frame appears continuous.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
