Y Edge Trim Profile

The Y edge trim profile forms a sloping aluminium edge at the ends of tile coverings. The Y-shaped visible section finishes the end of the covering with a different section line; the perforated mounting flange stays beneath the tile.

    Unlike straight or square finishes, the Y tile edge trim profile offers a sloping finishing surface.

    The visible metal section finishes the open edge of the tile along a single line.

    The profile has a mounting area that can be positioned in a suitable adhesive bed while the covering is laid.

    The choice between the 10 and 12 mm models is made together with the tile thickness and how the visible Y section sits against the covering.

Applications and model selection

It can be used at wall tile ends, side finishes and decorative details where a sloping edge appearance is wanted. When choosing an aluminium Y edge trim, the direction in which the section will be seen once installed should be examined.

Installation and Covering Compatibility

The mounting flange is set beneath the covering; the Y-shaped end is trial-fitted with the tile and the top level is adjusted. The line of the profile is maintained and the joint gap is set according to the application material. The exact profile length is confirmed separately.
