The 12 × 24 Flanged LED Profile is an aluminium model whose body is set into a groove while its side flanges form the finish on the surface. The Y6094 profile can be considered for recessed linear lighting in furniture and interior details. The covered channel keeps the LED strip on an even line.

Highlights

  • Recessed LED profile for furniture

    The two flanges at the top sit on the edges of the cut groove. The body is set in while a neat profile frame is formed on the surface.

  • 24.2 mm total width

    The total dimension in the drawing includes the visible flanges. The 15 mm outer body width is a separate reference for planning the recessed groove.

  • 11.2 mm section height

    The profile height helps in assessing the installation depth required in the furniture or building surface. Space is allowed separately for the cable route.

  • Flanged LED channel

    The compatible cover completes the light surface and forms a screen in front of the LED strip. The dotted appearance is assessed with the strip and cover combination.

Applications and model selection

It can be used on shelves, display cases, cabinets and interior surfaces where a recessed lighting groove can be prepared. It is selected by checking the surface thickness, groove depth and visible flange width together.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The groove is prepared according to the outer section of the body and the installation allowance; the recess is not cut to the total flange width. The profile is fixed to the surface by a suitable method. The LED strip is chosen according to the inner seat, and the connections do not obstruct the cover. The cover is checked for a proper fit along the run.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
