The 12 × 45 Flanged LED Profile is an aluminium model with wide flanges on both sides of its 22 mm outer body. The section, code Y6372, finishes a recessed line of light with a pronounced frame. The mill finish, matt and painted options allow the visible edges to be matched to the other surfaces in the space.

  • Wide-framed recessed LED profile

    The wide section, including the flanges, forms a pronounced frame around the lighting. In the design, the light band and the metal edges are considered together.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The channel is prepared taking the 22 mm outer body and the installation allowance into account. The profile is aligned and the wide flanges are seated evenly on the surface. The LED strip is chosen according to the inner seat dimension and the power requirement. The cover and the appearance of the light are checked on a short run before the whole line is completed.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
