Concealed Corner LED Profile

The Y7055 Hidden Corner LED Profile offers a section specific to edge lighting, with a tall side flange and a covered LED channel. The aluminium body sits on the edge of the adjoining surface and positions the light channel beside that edge. The curved cover shape completes the visible light surface of the profile.

Highlights

  • Tall-flanged corner LED profile

    The vertical part within the 35 mm section height determines how the profile relates to the edge detail. The upper leg is planned together with the edge of the adjoining surface.

  • Side-positioned LED seat

    The LED channel sits beside the tall flange. The direction and visibility of the light opening are determined by the position of the profile in the application.

  • Curved cover appearance

    The rounded cover shape shown in the images gives a different finish from channels with a flat cover. The cover is matched to the slot of this section.

  • Furniture edge lighting

    The straight body sets out a line of light that follows a furniture or surface edge. At joints, the body and cover alignment are arranged together.

Applications and model selection

It can be considered for furniture edges, cabinet and shelf ends, and suitable interior junction details. The space where the tall side flange will sit and the direction the light faces are the basis for choosing the model.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The profile section is compared with the thickness of the adjoining surface and the finished level. The body is fixed by a suitable method; the LED strip is chosen according to the usable inner width. The curved cover should seat without being forced. The light and access to the connections are checked before the surfaces are completed.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Which colour options are available?

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
