T Transition Profile

The T transition profile covers the joint line between floor coverings at a similar level with a slim aluminium top surface. The central stem sits in the joint gap while the two horizontal flanges finish the edges of the coverings.

Highlights

  • Slim visible finish

    The aluminium T transition profile finishes the joint between two coverings with a linear metal surface.

  • Central connecting stem

    The vertical section in the middle is the part that locates the profile within the gap between the coverings.

    Models from 10 to 40 mm can be selected according to the joint gap and the cover allowance on each side.

  • Five surface alternatives

    The matt, polished, matt gold, polished gold and painted options can be matched to the floor design.

Applications and model selection

It can be used as a parquet-to-tile transition profile and as a parquet joining strip between coverings at a similar level. The top flange width is chosen so that it closes the gap while leaving enough contact on both surfaces.

Installation and Floor Compatibility

The joint gap and the depth the stem will enter are measured. The profile is dry-fitted and the seating of the top flanges is checked. A fixing material suited to the floor is used; the movement allowance required by the parquet system is maintained.
