Polycarbonate Cover

The Polycarbonate LED Profile Cover is a light-diffusing cover used on the front face of compatible aluminium LED profiles. Its frosted white appearance forms an even light surface between the LED strip and the room. The different size options are intended to be matched with a variety of sections, from narrow channels to wide lighting profiles.

  • Polycarbonate LED diffuser

    The flat cover construction forms a defined light surface along the profile. The edge connection form must match the cover seat of the aluminium profile to be used.

  • Light-diffusing LED cover

    It helps the light spread across the cover surface. The visibility of the LED dots depends on the strip density and the channel depth as well as the cover.

  • Wide size range

    The listed options between 10 mm and 80 mm are intended for different profile families. Each size is selected together with its own connection section.

  • Even finish on straight runs

    The cover forms a clean front face that follows the direction of the profile. Corners and joints are planned in the same design layout as the body joints.

Applications and model selection

It can be used with compatible surface-mount channel, slim, trimless and other covered LED profiles. For use, the tab form, the cover height and the profile seat are checked as well as the nominal width.

Installation and Model Compatibility

A seating trial is first carried out on a short piece of profile. The cover is cut cleanly to the application size and seated evenly in its seat. Check that the LED strip and the connections do not touch the cover. The final light appearance is assessed by running the actual strip and cover to be used in the installation together.
