Round U Edge Profile

The oval U edge trim profile forms a curved aluminium nose at the open end of parquet flooring. The short upper flange and the base that extends under the parquet enclose the edge of the covering in a rounded finish.

  • Oval front nose

    The oval parquet edge trim profile provides a rounded metal surface along the line where the covering ends.

  • Positioned by the lower flange

    The long section that sits under the parquet allows the edge trim to be planned together with the flooring detail.

  • Short upper flange

    The return at the top completes the visible edge of the parquet end and covers the cut line.

  • 8 and 10 mm models

    The profile height is matched to the actual covering thickness and the allowance needed for movement.

Applications and model selection

The oval U parquet profile can be used on open edges and in laminate flooring details where a curved finish is wanted. Model selection is assessed on the channel the covering will sit in, before the outer height of the profile.

Installation and Floor Compatibility

The position of the lower flange is set before the floor is laid. The parquet end is trial-fitted in the channel and a suitable movement gap is left. The fixing material is chosen to suit the covering system; joints and nose alignment are checked.
