Round-Edge Stair Nosing Profile

The oval stair nosing profile forms a rounded aluminium nose at the end of the tiled step. Its ribbed top surface and perforated mounting flange bring the covering edge together in a single section in terms of both appearance and seating.

    The oval stair nosing profile completes the corner line of the covering with a curved metal surface.

Applications and model selection

The oval stair edge profile can be used on tiled steps where a rounded nose detail is wanted. In choosing between 10 and 12 mm, the covering thickness and the finished height of the adhesive bed are considered together.

Installation and Step Compatibility

The profile is aligned so that the mounting flange is embedded in a suitable adhesive. The tile is matched to the top level of the nose section. The junction of the rounded front face with the riser and its alignment on all steps are checked.
