Standard External Corner Profile with Bottom Anchoring Leg

The standard bottom-lip outside corner profile forms a curved aluminium nose with a short return at the lower end on the tile corner. The perforated mounting flange allows the tile outside corner finish to be applied together with the tiling.

Highlights

  • Bottom lip detail

    The bottom-lip tile profile differs from the other outside corner models in the return at the lower end of the curved nose.

  • Curved front face

    The visible aluminium surface finishes the outside corner line of the tiling with a rounded transition.

  • Perforated connection section

    The flange is the mounting area that lies beneath the tile and sits within the adhesive bed.

  • Size according to the tile

    The 10 and 12 mm options require the tile thickness and the top level of the profile to be assessed together.

Applications and model selection

It can be used on tiled wall and column corners for a nose detail with a bottom return. When a bottom-lip corner trim is chosen, the relationship of the lip to the tile edge is examined on a sample.

Installation and Covering Compatibility

The profile is aligned along the corner and its perforated flange is set into the mounting bed. The tile is trial-fitted together with the bottom lip and the nose section. The joint allowance required by the application is maintained between the tile and the visible metal.
