The 10 × 50 Flanged LED Profile is an aluminium model that combines a wide body with pronounced side flanges. The product, code Y6348, is considered for recessed applications that aim for a wide line of light. The flanges that remain on the surface create a framed appearance around the lighting line.

    The channel form is suited to planning a wider light surface than narrow sections allow. The LED layout is determined from the actual inner dimensions.

Applications and model selection

It can be used in wide shelf and display case details, bespoke furniture and interior applications where a clearly framed light band is wanted. When setting the recessed channel size, work from the section of the profile that will be used.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The application channel is prepared according to the outer body dimension of the profile sample and the installation allowance. The profile is fixed with the flanges left on the surface. The LED layout and the cover are tried together on the wide light surface. Connection points are positioned so that they do not prevent the cover from seating or obstruct the light distribution.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
