10×23 Flanged LED Profile

The 10 × 23 Flanged LED Profile is an aluminium section that finishes the groove edges with its side flanges in recessed LED applications. With its wide body and low construction, the Y6263 model can be used for linear lighting on furniture and decorative surfaces. The installation dimension is taken from the technical section, separately from the product name.

Highlights

  • Wide-body flanged LED profile

    The body dimension helps in planning the recess the profile will sit in. The usable inner seat is measured separately for LED strip compatibility.

  • 30 mm total flange width

    The flanges on both sides extend beyond the body and cover the cut edges. The visible frame sitting flat on the surface is important for a neat finish.

  • 9.8 mm section height

    The low section allows applications with limited depth to be considered. During installation, the remaining thickness of the surface and the cable route are examined together.

  • Recessed lighting inside cabinets

    The channel, completed with a cover, forms an even band of light along the line of the furniture. LED density and the distance to the cover determine the appearance.

Applications and model selection

It can be considered for recessed lighting in cabinet interiors, shelving systems, display cases and bespoke furniture designs. The body width and the machinable depth of the surface are considered together when choosing a model.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The cut is planned taking into account the 23.5 mm outer body dimension in the drawing and the required installation allowance. The flanges are left on the surface. The LED strip is chosen according to the inner seat and access is provided for power connections. A light and fit test is carried out with the compatible cover.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
