Square U Edge Profile

The square U edge trim profile closes the open edge of parquet flooring with an aluminium section that has a flat side face. The lower flange, which sits under the parquet, and the short upper flange enclose the end of the covering in a U shape.

Applications and model selection

It can be used for parquet edge finishes, covering ends that approach fixed surfaces and open edge details. The choice of square U parquet profile depends on the movement allowance to be left at the edge as well as the covering thickness.

Installation and Floor Compatibility

The position of the lower flange is planned before the covering is laid. The parquet end is dry-fitted in the profile channel; the required movement space is maintained without the board being pinched. The fixing method is selected to suit the installation requirements of the parquet system.
