Flexible Cover

The Flexible LED Profile Cover is a bendable cover that closes the light opening of compatible aluminium LED profiles. Its frosted white surface forms a light-diffusing layer in front of the LED. The flexible construction is intended in particular for designs with curved lines, where the profile and the cover line need to run together.

Highlights

  • Flexible LED diffuser cover

    The cover can be used to follow the curved line of a compatible profile. The bending direction and the radius to be applied are determined by trying the profile and cover together.

  • Frosted white LED channel cover

    The diffuser appearance aims for a more uniform band of light in front of the LED source. The result depends on the strip density and the distance to the cover.

  • Five size options

    The 15, 22, 25, 32 and 50 mm options are intended for different profile sections. The same nominal width does not on its own guarantee cover compatibility.

  • Flexible application along the run

    It offers a solution intended to reduce rigid cover joints in curved designs. The final layout is planned together with the connection seat of the profile and the line of application.

Applications and model selection

It can be used with compatible flexible trimless profiles, curved ceiling lines and other LED profiles for which a flexible cover option is offered. The model is selected by checking the edge connection form as well as the cover width.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The cover is tried in the profile seat with a short sample. During cutting and fitting the cover is not stretched unnecessarily; it is seated evenly on both edges of the channel. The LED strip is switched on in its final state to check for visible dots and the light distribution. Note that the cover width is not the LED strip width.
