Reinforced Blade Straightedge Profile

The supported blade straightedge profile combines a plaster levelling edge and an internal support section in the same aluminium body. The tapered end works on the fresh plaster, while the internal section forms the supported section structure of the model.

Highlights

  • Internally supported geometry

    The centre-supported blade straightedge differs from the unsupported blade model in the connecting section inside the body.

  • Tapered scraping end

    The working edge offers a contact line intended to scrape excess off the plaster surface and check the plane.

    The profile rests on guides prepared at the same level and helps keep the surface true.

  • Mill finish aluminium body

    The as-extruded surface forms the basic material and surface definition of the plastering straightedge.

Applications and model selection

It can be considered as a supported aluminium straightedge for gypsum and plaster work. When choosing the model, the working span, the actual section, the profile length and the application method are examined together.

Application and Surface Check

The Ano guide lines and the trueness of the straightedge are checked. Work on the fresh mortar with even pressure and fill any low areas. At the end of the job, mortar residues are cleaned off and the working edge and internally supported body are checked for deformation.
