LED Profiles
Surface LED profiles arrange an LED strip, or the lighting components suited to the model, inside an aluminium body. The Yiğit Alüminyum collection includes channels in different widths, a corner section, a neon LED channel, a stair model and a linear luminaire housing. When planning a surface-mounted light line, assess the function of the channel and the installation location together.

A surface-mount LED channel profile defines the body that will hold the lighting line and the visible section. In applications that call for a surface-mounted LED profile, the outer dimension of the profile shows the area it will take up on the surface, while the internal channel limits the LED component that can be used. The straight channel, corner, neon and luminaire housing sections in the collection perform different tasks; the selection should be made on the basis of this function.
The models named 6×10, 7×13, 10×18 and 12×18 are compared for narrow lighting lines. When choosing an aluminium LED channel, the internal space that the LED strip will fit into and the outer dimension of the profile are examined separately.
The channels named 22 mm, 32 mm and 50 mm and the linear LED luminaire housing offer different body arrangements. The internal compartments and connection requirements of the luminaire housing should not be treated as the same as choosing a standard open channel.
The corner LED profile is a section that sets the direction of light at a junction. The LED stair profile is assessed together with the step detail. The application direction and the profile’s relationship to the covering it carries are checked model by model.
The neon LED profile is considered for housing the neon lighting section that suits it. The outer dimension of the neon body and the way the channel grips it should be matched; the same compatibility as a standard LED strip and cover system is not assumed.
Compare the actual width of the LED strip or neon body with the technical section. Confirm which edge the dimension in the product name represents.
Measure the width and height the profile will take up on the installation surface. A narrow furniture edge and a wide luminaire line require different amounts of space.
Check the seat compatibility on models that use a diffuser, and the direction of the light on the corner model. Do not choose a cover by nominal width alone.
Decide the fixing method, the cable entry and the end details in advance. Make sure the cover and the LED component can be reached afterwards.
A surface-mounted LED profile can be considered, in a way that suits its section, for furniture, shelf, display cabinet or interior lighting details. An LED strip channel and a neon channel are chosen for different lighting components. The uses of the step and luminaire housing models are planned separately according to their own body structure.
The alignment and cleanliness of the surface the profile will sit on are checked. Fixing is carried out using a method suited to the shape of the channel and the substrate. Cable entries and connection areas are prepared before the LED component is fitted. On sections that use a cover, the seating of the cover, the end joints and maintenance access are checked at the end of installation.
Compare the straight channel, corner, neon and luminaire housing options against the section of your lighting component.
