Reinforced Box Straightedge Profile

The supported box straightedge profile is defined by the internal web at the centre of its rectangular aluminium body. Its flat outer faces run along the guides during plastering and help to check the plane of the surface.

    The centrally supported box straightedge has an internal vertical web that divides the section into two chambers.

  • Flat working faces

    The rectangular outer body provides flat faces that bear on the guides, so the plaster plane can be followed.

    The 30×70 mm catalogue designation is assessed together with the actual section and the working length.

  • Mill finish surface

    The aluminium body is supplied as extruded and is defined as a straightedge profile for plastering work.

Applications and model selection

It can be used as a supported plastering straightedge for gypsum and other suitable plaster applications. The internally supported model is selected with regard to the working span and the way the applicator works.

Application and Surface Check

The straightness of the straightedge and the Ano (screed guide) lines are checked before application. The mortar surface is levelled with even strokes. After work the faces are cleaned; the ends and the body are protected from knocks that could affect accuracy.
