Y6244 Plasterboard Concealed Corner LED Profile (45×20)

With a section height of 45 mm, the Plasterboard Hidden Corner LED Profile creates a lit junction detail at the edge of a surface. The vertical body and the perforated flange at the bottom allow the profile to sit within the plasterboard application. The LED channel on the side defines the corner line with light.

  • 45 mm hidden corner LED profile

    The vertical leg determines how the profile relates to the adjoining surface. The overall height is taken into account when planning the mounting area and the finishing layers.

  • Perforated flange at the bottom

    The 20 mm horizontal leg forms an area for fixing and for the plaster finish. The direction of the flange is chosen together with the edge where the lighting will sit.

  • Concealed light channel for plasterboard

    The LED opening is positioned on the side face of the profile. This arrangement suits emphasising a plasterboard edge or step with a lit line.

  • Flat vertical face

    The upper part of the body forms a straight boundary in the corner detail. The channel opening and the covering level are checked together to give a neat finish.

Applications and model selection

It can be used at plasterboard steps, ceiling edges, wall niches and junctions that call for a side light opening. Unlike the other model with a perforated vertical flange, in this section the mounting flange is on the lower horizontal part.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The profile is oriented according to the final level of the surfaces and fixed properly through the lower flange. The LED channel is kept open throughout the finishing works. The strip is chosen according to the inner seat and the power requirement. The cover seating and the direction of the light are tried on a short section of the application.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
