4 mm U Edge Profile (PVC Panel)

The PVC Wall Panel U Edge Trim Profile encloses the open panel edge where the wall covering ends and forms a neat finish. Its U-shaped aluminium section takes in the panel end; the 8 mm top flange covers the cut line. It is used to define the perimeter of the covering and to give the panel edge a finished appearance.

  • PVC panel start and edge trim profile

    A single panel edge sits in the slot of the profile. The side wall and top flange cover the cut surface at the point where the covering ends.

  • 8 mm wide top flange

    The visible top flange forms a narrow frame on the panel surface. This dimension refers not to the panel thickness but to the upper part of the profile that extends over the panel.

  • Aluminium U edge trim profile

    The 18 mm bottom flange extends behind the panel and provides a wider seating area than the top surface. The asymmetric section is arranged to finish the edge from one side.

  • Colour consistency around the covering

    The silver, gold and black options can be used to define the perimeter of the panel. Visual continuity can be established along the wall covering with other profile details in the same colour.

Applications and model selection

It can be considered for the free edges of decorative wall panels, partial wall coverings and straight panel boundaries. It finishes the line where the panel ends in coverings behind TVs and in offices or shops. Model selection is based on an application where a single panel edge is to be closed and on the 3.6 mm slot opening.

Installation and Panel Compatibility

The finishing line is measured, the profile is cut and a dry fit is carried out with the panel end. The profile is positioned with the bottom flange behind the panel and the short top flange on the visible surface. The actual thickness and the slot opening are checked so that the panel can be fitted without forcing. Fixing is completed using a method suited to the panel and the wall surface.
