The 11 mm rubber-insert stair nosing profile creates a separate contact surface at the step edge with the rubber strip on its aluminium body. It is designed for applications that want to finish the covering edge with a metal nosing and use a rubber-insert nosing strip.

Applications and model selection

It can be considered for a rubber-insert nosing detail on tiled stairs. While the 11 mm value in the model name is taken as the basis, the fit between the profile slot and the actual covering thickness should be checked on a sample.

Installation and Step Compatibility

Before the covering is laid, the position of the mounting flange and the top level are determined. The profile and the tile are aligned in the same finished plane. Check that the rubber strip is fully seated in its slot and that the fixing materials used are suitable for the system.
