Flush-Mounted LED Skirting Profile

The Recessed (Plaster-In) LED Skirting Profile is used to create a recessed finish and a line of light at the base of the wall. The wide-flanged aluminium section is installed together with the plaster layer; the LED channel sits close to the wall-floor junction. This construction makes it possible to design a skirting detail that is integrated with the surface.

Highlights

  • Recessed LED skirting

    The profile is planned together with the finishing layers of the wall. The skirting detail therefore looks integrated into the application surface.

  • Wide flat flange

    The main flange helps to organise the plaster and the wall finish. The orientation and position of the section are determined together with the final floor level.

  • Concealed light profile for the wall base

    The channel is positioned to create an illuminated line at the base of the wall. The visibility of the light depends on the relationship between the finished surface and the profile level.

  • Plain wall-base detail

    Recessed installation aims for a finish that becomes part of the surface instead of a wide external skirting. Corners and door transitions can be resolved in the same design language.

Applications and model selection

It can be considered for newly built walls, or for residential, hotel and office interiors where a plaster detail can be prepared during renovation. The profile is selected by planning the floor covering and the wall finish together.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The finished floor level is determined; the profile is fixed before plastering. The LED channel and the cover seat are protected from plaster and paint. The strip is chosen according to the inner seat and the power requirement. Access is left for cable connections; the cover and the line of light are checked after the finishing work.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Which colour options are available?

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
