Self-Adhesive Threshold Profile

The self-adhesive threshold profile covers the gap at the joint between floor coverings such as parquet and tile with a curved aluminium surface. The double-sided tape on its lower edges allows the profile to be applied by bonding it to the prepared surface.

    The adhesive threshold profile is attached to a suitable floor surface by means of the tape running along its lower edges.

  • 37 mm cover width

    The top surface provides an area to cover the joint line between the coverings; the gap and the contact allowance on both sides are checked together.

  • Curved metal transition

    The aluminium door threshold completes the finish over the joint with a surface that tapers towards both sides.

  • Matt appearance

    The matt aluminium surface forms a plain metal line at the parquet and tile transition.

Applications and model selection

It can be used at door thresholds, room transitions and parquet-to-tile joints. When selecting the self-adhesive parquet transition profile, the covering levels, the gap width and the area the tapes will contact are measured.

Installation and Floor Compatibility

The contact surfaces are prepared so that they are clean, dry and suitably sound. The profile is cut and dry-fitted; after the tape liner is removed, it is applied with even pressure. The connection must be planned so that the movement gap required by the parquet is maintained.
