Plasterboard Z Profile

The plasterboard Z profile is an aluminium edge trim profile used to form a controlled edge line at wall and suspended ceiling terminations. Its Z-shaped section and perforated mounting flange bring the plasterboard surface and the finishing line together in the same detail.

Applications and model selection

The plasterboard edge profile can be considered for suspended ceiling perimeters, the ends of wall linings and interior details where a controlled shadow line is wanted. The Z profile size should be chosen according to the finishing gap in the project.

Installation and Size Selection

The mounting flange is aligned with the plasterboard edge; the appropriate fixing and filling method is determined by the application system. The values 10, 12, 15 and 20 mm are the top flange width; they should not be matched directly to the board thickness.
