12×18 LED Channel Profile

The 12 × 18 Surface-Mount LED Channel Profile is an aluminium lighting section with an outer width of 18.4 mm and a height of 12.6 mm. With its flangeless construction, the Y6093 model is used to form an even LED line on a surface. The taller section offers a separate option in terms of installation and cover fitting.

  • Flangeless aluminium LED profile

    It offers a different internal layout from the 10 mm high model with the same outer width. The strip and connection arrangement is determined by this section's own dimensions.

    The body forms a compact lighting line on the surface. The outer width and the usable LED seat are assessed separately from each other.

  • Surface-mounted LED channel

    The profile can form a line directly on a shelf or furniture surface. The appropriate fixing method is chosen according to the surface material and the mounting direction.

    The cover seating details require the use of the diffuser that matches this body. Covers of different profiles with a similar width are not automatically treated as equivalent.

Applications and model selection

It can be used for shelf, display case, cabinet and decorative interior lighting. The 12 × 18 model can be preferred when the height, cover selection and connection space are assessed together.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The profile is fixed and the LED strip is applied to the clean inner seat. The strip power and connection arrangement are planned together with the inner volume of the channel. The cover seat is checked and the correct diffuser is selected. Before installation is completed, the light appearance is verified, along with the fact that the connections do not touch the cover.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
