Plasterboard Grid Corner Transition Profile

The plasterboard grid ceiling corner transition profile completes the ceiling detail where vertical plasterboard meets horizontal panel board. The asymmetric aluminium section receives the board edge in a channel and offers a separate horizontal face to the edge of the adjacent panel.

Applications and model selection

The suspended ceiling corner transition profile is considered in details where a panel ceiling meets a plasterboard perimeter or vertical edge. The panel type, board thickness and junction direction are the main criteria for selection.

Installation and Covering Compatibility

The profile channel is checked together with the plasterboard to be used; the face on which the panel will sit and the finished level are matched. Fixing is carried out according to the metal substructure detail. The 14.8 mm channel base dimension is not to be read as a clear internal opening or as a guarantee of fit for every board.
