F Çavuş Profile

The F Çavuş profile is an aluminium edge trim profile that combines a ribbed top surface, a front return and a lower mounting flange on the stair step. The 8 and 10 mm options allow an F-shaped nose to be formed in different covering details.

Highlights

  • Çavuş section geometry

    The F Çavuş stair profile brings a horizontal top surface and a downward-turning front flange together in the same section.

  • Ribbed top area

    The longitudinal lines give definition to the metal surface at the step end, making the edge of the covering easy to read.

  • Lower mounting flange

    The lower extension of the body forms the connection section to be planned together with the covering and the substrate.

  • Two height options

    The 8 and 10 mm model options are matched to the covering detail and help set the top level of the step.

Applications and model selection

It is used on stair edges and covering edge finishes where an F step profile is required. The top flange and front return of the Çavuş model are compared with the nose appearance wanted in the project.

Installation and Step Compatibility

The position of the lower flange is determined before the covering is installed. The profile is aligned on a straight line along the step. Covering thickness, connection bed and nose height are checked together on a sample.
