Concealed Light Strip Profile

The concealed light strip profile forms a front edge that screens the light source from the line of sight in a plasterboard ceiling detail. The aluminium body tidies the finish of the lighting recess and accompanies applications where the light is directed onto the ceiling surface.

Highlights

  • Face that screens the light source

The plasterboard concealed light profile forms an edge in front of the LED position and helps limit direct view.

  • Defined ceiling finish

The vertical face completes the boundary of the light strip opening with a straight line.

  • 25 mm connection flange

The horizontal flange positions the profile in relation to the plasterboard and the metal substructure.

  • Fit with the lighting detail

Where it is used as an LED concealment profile, the height of the light source and the viewing angle are planned together.

Applications and model selection

The suspended ceiling light strip profile can be considered for indirect lighting details in living room, corridor, hotel and shop ceilings. The uniformity of the light depends on the LED used and the geometry of the recess.

Installation and Covering Compatibility

The profile level, the position of the light source and access to the services are determined in advance. The support and thermal solution required for the LED are selected separately with the lighting system. The 50.4 mm total height in the drawing is not the LED strip channel width.
