12×7 Oval Pendant LED Profile

The 12 × 7 Oval Pendant LED Profile gives decorative lighting designs a different body appearance with its rounded outer section. The aluminium model carries the LED strip in its inner channel. The term oval refers to the shape of the section; the overall shape of the pendant is created through separate design and fabrication decisions.

Highlights

  • Oval-section pendant profile

    The soft edges of the body create a different visible surface from that of square-edged channels. The profile is chosen together with the shape of the metal lines in the pendant.

  • 7.1 mm section height

    The low section can be considered for slim decorative lighting elements. The heights of the LED and cable connections are planned according to the internal space.

  • 17.8 mm outer width

    The overall width in the technical drawing differs from the 12 mm reference in the model name. The outer section dimension is the basis for the design layout.

  • Pendant LED channel profile

    The seating details inside allow the compatible cover to sit in the profile. The LED strip, cover and connection sections are tried together.

Applications and model selection

It can be used in bespoke pendants, decorative light elements and slim lighting designs where an oval section appearance is wanted. When selecting, the body shape, mounting connection and light surface are assessed together.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The cutting and joining layout of the profile is prepared according to the design. The strip is selected to suit the usable inner seat; solder joints and cables must not push the cover upwards. If the body needs to be formed, the production method is determined separately. Cover seating and light appearance are checked on the final sample.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Which colour options are available?

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.

Can I get a price for project and wholesale orders?
