LED Skirting Profile

The 100 mm Aluminium Skirting Profile with LED completes the wall-to-floor junction with a 100 mm high aluminium body and an integrated light channel. With its flat front face, the Y96 model gives a neat skirting appearance. The LED opening near the bottom sets out a decorative line of light along the wall.

Highlights

  • 100 mm lit skirting

    The wide front face defines the finish at the foot of the wall as a pronounced band. The height is assessed together with door frames and other skirtings.

  • LED lighting profile for the foot of the wall

    The LED channel is positioned near the bottom of the skirting. The lighting can be used to emphasise the wall-to-floor boundary decoratively.

  • 10 mm outer depth

    The depth in the section helps to plan the space the profile will take up in front of the wall. The floor finish and door thresholds are checked together with this dimension.

  • Four colour alternatives

    The black, anthracite, white and grey options can be matched to wall and floor materials. The colour also determines the daytime appearance of the skirting.

Applications and model selection

It can be used in residential corridors, living rooms, hotel rooms and decorative lighting at the foot of the wall. It is brought into the design by assessing the profile height, the floor colour and the continuity of the line of light together.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The wall and the finished floor level are checked; the profile is fixed by a suitable method. Corners, doors and end points are planned in advance. The LED strip and cover are chosen according to the channel section; cable access is provided. The line of light and the cover seating are checked along the whole route.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Which colour options are available?

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
