32 mm LED Channel Profile

The 32 mm Surface-Mount LED Channel Profile is used in linear lighting designs that call for a wider light surface. The Y6269 aluminium body has an outer width of 32 mm and a height of 13.5 mm. The flangeless construction forms a wider but plain line on the surface.

Applications and model selection

It can be used on wide shelves, in showroom and display layouts, bespoke furniture designs and decorative linear lighting. The visible width of the light band and the intended light level are planned separately.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The profile is fixed to a suitable surface and the LED seat is cleaned. The strip or module layout is determined by the inner width and the power requirement. The cover is matched to the seat of the section. Whether shadows or distinct dots appear on the wide surface is checked on a sample installation.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Which colour options are available?

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
