10×18 LED Channel Profile

The 10 × 18 Surface-Mount LED Channel Profile is used for linear lighting on shelves, cabinets and decorative surfaces, with a flangeless aluminium body. The Y6129 model offers an outer width of 18.4 mm and a height of 10 mm. The covered channel positions the LED strip within an even line.

  • Aluminium LED strip channel

    The medium-width section offers a different installation space from the narrow channel models. The inner seat is assessed together with the strip and connections to be chosen.

  • 10 mm section height

    It offers a different layout from the taller channel alternative with the same outer width. The model is chosen according to the depth of the installation space.

  • Under-shelf LED profile

    The flangeless, flat-based body makes it easier to form a straight line on a surface. The fixing method is determined by the application material.

    The compatible diffuser completes the front face of the light line. Strip density, power and the distance to the cover together affect the appearance of the light.

Applications and model selection

It can be considered for lighting under shelves, in cabinet interiors, display cases and interior furniture. It is selected when the 10 mm section height, the visible projection of the profile and the installation space are examined together.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The body is fixed along a straight line; the LED seat is cleaned and the strip is applied. The 18.4 mm outer width is not taken directly as the LED strip size. Cables and connection points are arranged to suit the inner volume. The cover fit and light distribution are tested on a short section of the installation.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
