The 65x27 LED stair nosing profile completes the step nosing with a 65 mm wide top surface and a curved front body. The LED channel in the lower part places the light source under the step edge. It is designed for interior projects that want to combine a metal edge finish with a downward light line.

    The 65 mm step profile creates a clear aluminium surface over the tile edge. The grooved strip on top visually separates the tread line.

Applications and model selection

Suitable for interior stairs in homes, hotels and shops where under-step lighting is planned. When choosing a stair edge LED profile, check the position of the 65 mm top part on the step, the shape of the front and the light direction together. The finished tile level is one of the main criteria for positioning the model.

Installation and Step Fit

Measure the step edge, cut and deburr the profile and dry-fit it on the surface. Fix it with a suitable method so the body cannot move. Compare the LED channel with the chosen strip and connectors. Prepare the cable route and cover access in advance, and check the light direction with a short test before completing the installation.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
