Tile External Corner LED Profile

The Tile External Corner LED Profile is an aluminium profile that provides both a corner finish and linear lighting on the external corners of tiled walls. The 10 mm model is applied together with the tile thickness.

    The profile finishes the external corner of the tiling while forming an LED line along the corner.

    The model size is chosen to suit the tile thickness; it is checked together with the tile and the adhesive bed before application.

    The mounting flange stays under the tile; only the corner section of the profile is visible on the surface.

    The standard surface is mill-finish aluminium. Other colours are produced on request in a custom powder-coat colour.

Applications and model selection

It can be used on the external corners of bathrooms, kitchens and tiled walls, and on the edges of niches and projections.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The profile is placed on the corner while the tiles are being laid; the mounting flange is bedded in the adhesive. The LED strip and cable route are planned before the tiling is completed. In wet areas the protection rating of the electrical components is assessed separately.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Which colour options are available?

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
