7×13 LED Channel Profile

The 7 × 13 Surface-Mount LED Channel Profile is an aluminium model used to create compact linear lighting on shelf and furniture surfaces. The flangeless body of the Y6261 product forms a narrow line on the surface. The technical drawing shows an outer width of 13.04 mm and a height of 7.6 mm.

Highlights

  • Slim LED profile for furniture

    With no flanges extending at the sides, the space the profile occupies is limited to its own section. Surface-mounted, it gives a plain appearance.

  • 13.04 mm outer width

    The narrow section can be planned together with shelf and display case edges. The inner seat dimension for the LED strip is checked separately.

  • 7.6 mm height

    The low construction can be considered for limiting the visible height of the profile in a furniture detail. The cable and connection space is planned together with the section.

  • LED diffuser channel

    The inner seats allow the cover made for this section to be fitted. The cover is not chosen by nominal width alone.

Applications and model selection

It can be used in cabinet interiors, under shelves, in display units and for fine decorative lines of light. The appropriate model is selected when the narrow outer section and the LED strip to be used are assessed together.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The profile is fixed to the supporting surface with a suitable fixing. The LED seat is cleaned and a strip of compatible size is fitted. Connections inside the shallow channel are arranged so that they do not prevent the cover from seating. The light appearance is checked with the final strip and cover combination before the run is completed.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
