6×10 LED Channel Profile

The 6 × 10 Surface-Mount LED Channel Profile is an aluminium model used for small lighting details, with a narrow and low construction. With its flangeless outer section, the Y6265 profile can form a compact line of light on a surface. The cover seat allows a neat finish with a compatible diffuser.

Highlights

  • Narrow aluminium LED channel

    The narrow body can be considered for shelf and furniture details where space is limited. The LED strip is chosen from the inner seat, separately from this outer dimension.

  • 6 mm low section

    The small profile height suits applications that aim to limit the projection from the surface. The total height of the strip and connection points is checked separately.

  • Flangeless LED profile

    As there is no mounting flange projecting at the sides, it leaves a narrow footprint on the surface. The fixing method is determined by the mounting surface and the direction of application.

  • Light control with a cover

    The compatible cover forms a light surface in front of the LEDs. A test is carried out with the actual strip to assess the dotted appearance in the shallow section.

Applications and model selection

It can be used on narrow shelves, small display cases, cabinet interiors and decorative furniture lines. In projects that require a small section, inner channel compatibility and the intended lighting effect are assessed together.

Installation and Model Compatibility

The body is fixed to a clean, even surface by a suitable method. The LED strip is matched to the usable inner width and the channel height. Solder and cable connections must not push the cover upwards. A light test is carried out before the cover is fitted, and the fit is checked along the whole run.

How is it installed?

  1. Measure and cut

    Mark the profile to the length required and cut it straight with a metal-cutting saw.

  2. Fit the LED strip

    Remove the backing tape from the strip and press it along the full length of the channel base to stick it down.

  3. Route the cable out

    Take the power cable out through the end of the profile or through a hole you have drilled.

  4. Fix the profile

    Fix the profile to the mounting surface with clips, screws or adhesive.

  5. Fit the cover

    Press the cover into the channel until it seats, then fit the end caps.

How is the cover fitted?

  1. Start from one end

    Insert one end of the cover into the channel at the end of the profile.

  2. Press along the full length

    Press the cover with your thumb to seat it in the channel along the profile.

  3. Fit the end caps

    Close both ends of the profile with the end caps.

Colour and finish options vary by product. For products with more than one option, the selection is made in the purchase area. For products with a single finish, the finish is stated under Product Specifications. For colours outside the standard options, you can submit a custom colour request with a RAL code.
