Classic Stair Nosing Profile

The classic stair nosing profile completes the front edge of tiled steps with its square nose form and ribbed top surface. The perforated mounting flange allows the aluminium body to be set in place during tiling.

Highlights

    The classic stair nosing profile completes the line where the top and front faces meet with a distinct, angular metal form.

  • Ribbed top texture

    The linear surface lines form a finishing area at the stair edge that is set apart from the covering surface.

  • Connection under the covering

    The perforated flange is the section designed so that the profile is set together with the tile adhesive and the covering.

  • Matt or polished surface

    The two surface options can be assessed according to the overall appearance of the covering and the balustrade details.

Applications and model selection

It can be used as a tile stair profile in interiors where a flat, square nose appearance is wanted. The choice between the 10 and 12 mm models is made according to the finished surface level as well as the covering thickness.

Installation and Step Compatibility

The mounting flange of the profile is seated in a suitable bed and its alignment is set along the stair edge. The covering is finished at the same level as the top surface of the profile. Joint gaps are left as required by the application system.
