4 mm H Joint Profile (PVC Panel)

The PVC Wall Panel H Joint Profile tidies the joint between two PVC panels placed side by side in the same wall plane. Its H-shaped aluminium section receives the panel edges on both sides; the 11 mm wide top surface covers the joint line. It can be used to form a neat transition between panel patterns or a decorative dividing line.

  • PVC panel joint profile

    The panel ends sit in the two sides of the H section. The central web defines the meeting point of the adjacent coverings and helps the joint line to look neat.

  • 11 mm visible joint surface

    The top flange extends over the cut edges of the two panels. Given as 11 mm in the technical drawing, this surface creates the appearance of a thin, distinct metal strip on the wall.

  • 26 mm base extending behind the panel

    The bottom flange stays behind the panel on both sides of the joint. The 26 mm base width of the profile is a section dimension separate from the strip visible on top.

  • Aluminium H joint profile

    The joints of panels with the same pattern can be tidied, or a boundary can be formed between different colours and patterns. The silver, gold and black options determine the appearance of the joint line.

Applications and model selection

It can be used for TV wall backdrops, shop interior coverings, office decoration and straight joints in large PVC panel surfaces. Horizontal or vertical joint lines can be prepared according to the panel layout. For joining two panels in the same plane, the H section and the 3.6 mm slot opening should be assessed together.

Installation and Panel Compatibility

The joint axis is determined in the panel layout plan. After the profile is cut to the required length, it is trial-fitted with both panels; the entry of the panel edges into the slots and the straightness of the visible strip are checked. The movement allowances specified by the panel manufacturer are maintained. The fixing method is chosen to be compatible with the wall surface and the covering system.
