Expansion Joint Transition Profile

The plasterboard expansion joint transition profile arranges the transition detail of separated covering edges in partition wall and suspended ceiling applications. The aluminium body with perforated flange helps the joint line to be finished in line with the project section.

Applications and model selection

It is considered as a suspended ceiling expansion joint profile at ceiling joints, and also at plasterboard partition wall transitions. The expected direction and amount of movement, the joint width and the adjacent coverings must be determined before application.

Installation and Covering Compatibility

The joint line is taken from the project; the profile and the opposite edge arrangement are placed according to the approved section. No rigid filling or connection that would obstruct the zone left for movement may be made. The movement capacity and any fire or acoustic requirements are verified separately through the system.
