Highlights

  • Wide cover surface

The 58 mm threshold profile is considered for details where the joint gap is to be brought under a wider metal surface.

  • Curved top line

The top surface tapers towards both sides, giving the appearance of a soft metal transition at the joint between the coverings.

  • Connection from the lower edges

In the technical layout there are taped contact areas along the two lower edges; compatibility with the floor is checked before installation.

  • Matt aluminium appearance

The matt surface provides a plain, uniform finish on the wide parquet transition profile.

Applications and model selection

It can be considered for door thresholds, room transitions and wide joint gaps. When selecting a wide door threshold profile, the contact area that will remain on each covering is calculated as well as the gap.

Installation and Floor Compatibility

The floors are cleaned and their finished levels are checked. The profile is cut and dry-fitted; it is confirmed that the taped surfaces contact sound covering. A connection detail is formed that will not restrict the movement of the parquet.
