Screed Profile

The Ano (screed guide) profile is the aluminium guide that forms the level line the feather edge follows in plastering. Ano strips set to the same plane on the wall help the plaster to be drawn to the target thickness and alignment.

Highlights
  • Defining the plaster plane

With the top surface that the feather edge runs on, the aluminium Ano strip forms a reference line that determines the finished plane of the application.

  • Internally supported section

The internal webs of the profile bring the top contact surface and the base together in one body.

  • Weight per length options

The 345, 630 and 720 g figures are the weight of one profile length; section and weight should be assessed together.

  • Mill finish aluminium surface

The as-extruded body is the basic surface description of the profile used as a plaster guide.

Applications and model selection

It is used as a level guide in gypsum and other suitable plaster applications. The plaster Ano profile is selected on the basis of the target thickness, the existing condition of the wall and the working length of the feather edge.

Application and Surface Check

The Ano profiles are fixed with a suitable mortar and set to the same plane; their spacing is adjusted to the working length of the feather edge. In details that require removal after levelling, the profile is taken out and the remaining channel is filled with a suitable plaster material.
